Below you will find several section with information to assist with your registration:
Volunteering
Do you have an unfilled want or need to give back to the community and don’t know where to start? Do you have a skill you think would benefit camp i.e. organization, cleaning, fixing things? Do you want to attend Tryst but may not have the funds to do so? Then look no further (cue cheesy commercial music)!
Camp would not run without our volunteers who help with various assignments throughout camp. If any of these sentences apply to you, fill out this form (coming soon)! Once filled out, come back here to register.
Looking for insight on how to register?
If you’re looking to enjoy the spoils of camp and all the event brings, look below for the registration process steps. We’ve changed a few things and know you’ll want to review those before making decisions.
The first part of our registration system will ask for basic information: legal name, badge name, pronouns, including any medical information you would like our medical staff to be aware of, and emergency contact information.
The next section starts with your admission to Tryst.
Our base registration is a Thursday - Sunday ticket at a cost of $275 PER PERSON.
We offer early entrance on Wednesday for an additional $50 PER PERSON.
Wednesday is setup day so expect a flurry of activity, no Tryst scheduled classes or events, and the play space is not typically ready for use till the evening.
The next section is “accommodations/sleeping options”:
All of our camping and RV sites are not specifically delineated. For camping sites we ask that you plan to take up no more than 20 ft x 20 ft footprint, including your sleeping AND social space.
Electric tent sites and electric RV sites are in a condensed area and very limited
please understand there will not be room between sites, and the backside of your tent could likely be directly adjacent to the backside of your neighbors tent.
We also ask that due to the limited number of electric sites that you consider if this is really a need for you at camp. If you prefer a little more space and distance then you might consider a non-electric site.
We do provide public charging areas for cell phones , vibrators, etc.
If ANY option is grayed out or unable to be selected, that means we are sold out .
If you want to camp with a large group of people, please note that there are only a few primitive sites mixed in with the electric sites. there is a greater chance of being able to keep everyone together if everyone is registered for the same type of site (i.e. all primitive vs primitive and electric.)
After choosing your sleeping options there are just a few more fields to go:
You can choose to pre-purchase wifi for $10 for a single device. This option will also be available on site.
at the request of campers we’ve included a way for you to make a donation to camp.
Any donation will go to furthering the event.
Lastly, Payment will show up at the bottom of the page. We accept all major credit cards.
All transactions will incur a 3% processing fee on the TOTAL amount
Site Options
Primitive tent site- $0: no frills, non-electric site for your tent and gear. Plan to take up no more than a 20 ft x 20 ft footprint
If you choose this option - it will open up a second field to upgrade to an electric site for an additional $50. This option will be grayed out if we are sold out of electric sites.
Mobility & Medical Tent Site- $0: includes everything a primitive tent site does but these are sites that are across or adjacent to port-a-potties, are directly adjacent to the main path, and across/near/adjacent to bus/taxi stops. We have a very limited number of these sites and this is something new we are trying for 2024. If you need an accessible site and they are sold out please register for what is available and contact trystreg@gmail.com and we will work with you to see how we can best assist your needs.
If you choose this option - it will open up a second field to upgrade to an electric site for an additional $50. This option will be grayed out if we are sold out of electric sites.
LITU "Leave It To Us" site- $150: this includes everything a primitive tent site does plus a 4-6 person tent that will be setup and torn down for you by Tryst and two camping chairs. Does NOT include sleeping bags or an air mattress.
If you choose this option - it will open up a second field to upgrade to an electric site for an additional $50. This option will be grayed out if we are sold out of electric sites.
Car camping- $50: this is for anyone who plans to camp/sleep in or on their vehicle, including camper vans. Once placed your vehicle will NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE at all during camp and you cannot run your vehicle for extended periods of time; 20X20 footprint
If you choose this option - it will open up a second field to upgrade to an electric site for an additional $50. This option will be grayed out if we are sold out of electric sites.
RV Sites- $50-75 dependent on size: there are 3 different options for RV sites based on the length of your rig (<15ft, 15-25ft, >25ft).
We use the generic term "RV" to encompass anything that is a home on wheels that is towed behind your vehicle. These sites are designed for just your rig, NOT your rig AND your vehicle; Your vehicle will need to be parked in the parking lot.
If you choose this option - it will open up a second field to upgrade to an electric site for an additional $75. Please add the power level your RV is equipped for
you want to bring your RV but there are no sites available in the size you need - please email registration at Reg@TwistedTryst.com with your details and we will advise if there are any options.
Staying offsite- $0: The next two options are for you!
Option 1- Staying offsite w/ NO onsite space: The first staying off site option includes a parking space in our 24 hr in/out lot. If you are staying off site but will not have your own vehicle please choose our last option “Site reserved by other”
Option 2- Staying offsite w/ onsite space:The second staying off site option includes a parking space in our 24 hr in/out lot and a 10 x 10 designated area where you can set-up a pop up and some chairs for the entirety of camp.
Please note you would only need to register for this option if you want something you can leave up all weekend. There are many areas throughout camp where you can set up a small hangout area for day use.
Site already reserved by others- $0: This option is for campers who are staying in someone else’s tent, car, rv, or offsite and will not be bringing their own vehicle.
Please put the legal or badge name of the person you are staying with or indicate offsite
If you have any questions on what to choose email Reg@TwistedTryst.com prior to registering and we will advise you on the best options.
Common Scenarios
Two people are attending camp together and will be sharing a tent and plan to have a small pop up
Your registration fee covers your admittance to the grounds, campsite, all functions, parties, play spaces and more!
A group of 7 people are attending camp together and plan on having 3 tents and a large pop up for shared kitchen/hangout space. Based on campsites staying within a 20 ft x 20 ft footprint the group thinks they need 3 tent spaces.
3 people should register for a primitive site w/ or w/o electric and the rest of the people should register as a “site reserved by other”.
A group of 4 is driving together, staying offsite, will have 1 vehicle and would like to set up a small hangout area for the weekend.
1 person should register as staying off site with a small tent space and the other 3 people should register as a “site reserved by other”.
A group of 3 is coming and 1 person will be camping/sleeping in their vehicle and the other 2 in a tent.
The driver of the vehicle should register for a car camping site. 1 of the people in the tent should register for a primitive site and 1 person should register as a “site reserved by other”.
There is a large loosely organized group of people that want to camp together as much as possible.
Come up with a group name and share it with those who are included. Tell everyone in the group to put that group name in the ‘Please note any folx you'd prefer to camp by/around’ field
Please note :if someone in your group chooses RV, car camping, or an accessible site we will likely not be able to keep everyone together. Additionally if you have a mixture of electric and non-electric sites we may not be able to keep your group together as there are limited non-electric sites mixed in with the electric sites.
